Can sharks get cancer?

Whether they’re feared or loved, sharks have dominated the water world for millions of years, constantly evolving and adapting. Some of the first studies about these magnificent creatures revealed that sharks have certain genes and mutations that prevent them from getting cancer and other illnesses.
