1. Spraying chlorine or alcohol on skin kills viruses in the body

Applying alcohol or chlorine on the body can only cause more harm than good, especially if it enters the eyes or mouth. These chemicals can be used to disinfect surfaces, but they shouldn’t be used on the skin.

Regardless of their harmful properties, these products cannot kill the viruses within the body anyway.

2. Only older adults and young people are at risk

SARS-CoV-2, like other coronaviruses, can infect people of any age. However, older adults or people who suffer from other preexisting health conditions, like diabetes or asthma, are more prone to becoming severely ill.

3. Children cannot catch COVID-19

All age groups can get infected with the coronavirus. It’s true that until now, most cases have been adults, but that doesn’t mean children are immune to this virus. Moreover, preliminary evidence shows that children are just as likely to get infected, but the symptoms tend to be less harsh.
