Covid-19 is still here, in our lives, in our countries, in our world. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the first case of patients infected with the last SARS-CoV-2 variant, omicron, was found in early December 2021 in Northern California.
Omicron is the most mutated coronavirus variant, and it is believed that it might be twice as dangerous as Delta.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the chief medical advisor from the White House said that the patient infected with omicron was fully vaccinated, and he had just returned to San Francisco, after a trip to South Africa. At a press briefing at the White House, the doctor stated that the patient is self-quarantining, and he has mild symptoms.
