F. Perry Wilson, MD, a Yale Medicine epidemiologist, believes that the one thing that makes this new Delta variant so unique is how rapidly is spreading. While it first appeared in India and then Great Britain in December 2020, by the end of July, Delta was at the root of more than 80% of new U.S. coronavirus cases.
CDC reports in July about Delta’s transmissibility came as a conclusion after the outbreak in Provincetown, Massachusetts. After an eventful weekend on the 4th of July, 470 cases were reported soon after.
The reports are dramatic, to be honest. As epidemiologists have discovered, Delta’s is 50% faster than Alpha, which was 50% more contagious than the first strain of SARS-CoV-2.

Close the border period, we are not serious about covid till this happens, sadly it's political.
nice propaganda, especially the artist renderings of the virus. When you quote an epidemiologist saying "I believe..." where is the science in that?

My husband & I had it & almost didn’t know it. He had a little cough for 3 days & I lost my taste & smell. That was it. Just a lot of scare tactics.
