8 Ways Technology Will Affect Our Future (Good And Bad)

Let’s start with the PROS:

1. Education

Technology helped students search for information, take different classes whenever they want to and develop a lot of skills. Especially since the pandemic hit, a lot of our activity moved in the online space. We’ve seen ourselves connecting everyday day to online courses, taking exams and being present in classes from the comfort of our own homes.

Even though being physically present in a class helps you develop your social and communication skills, we have to admit that online school really helped us during these times.

2. Working From Home

We’ll keep the same note as on the previous topic, because again, since the pandemic turned our lives around, working from home seemed like the only solution we had in order to keep living in a similar way as we were used to. You might miss some things, such as going to lunch with your colleagues or chit-chatting when you are on a break, but working remotely is not bad at all.

Yes, you might be temped to lay around and not be that productive, but if you can manage to create a schedule for yourself, then you can be even more productive and you’ll have more time to do the things you want around the house.

2. Digitized Money

Gone are the days when we were waiting in line at the bank. Nowadays, with Internet Banking, everything can be done from a smartphone. We don’t need to wait around for our bills to come or to go the bank to send some money.

We can make all types of operations through apps: from payments to banks, to utilities, magazine subscriptions, everything. We can even set up automatic payments, so we won’t have to worry about not paying the bills on time.

4. Healthcare

This one is completely amazing! With the help of technology, doctors are now able to identify new diseases and find ways to cure them. Technology made everything easier, when it comes to looking inside the human body. From X-Ray machines, to MRI, to electrocardiography, all help medical staff to know better. Now we can even get laser surgeries, which promote a quicker recovery, so we know we are in good hands!

5. Entertainment

Social media, YouTube, Netflix, HBO GO, Spotify, oh, well, we have a bunch of different things to choose from! We are not conditioned to watch or listen just what is on, but we have the option to choose everything, anywhere and any time!

Plus, you have almost unlimited options so it might be cheesy, but the sky is the limit!
