You might be aware of your own death!

Yes, of course, there are a lot of movies with near-death experiences, where individuals come back to life after understanding how the afterlife feels like for a little bit. But can this happen in real life?

A study conducted on more than 2,060 individuals that survived cardiac arrest and have been declared dead for a while has shown that more than 40 percent of them were aware of everything that happened around them.

However, that period of time where you can hear everything won’t last very long. It usually takes a few minutes until your body is deprived of oxygen, and then the awareness will disappear.
