There are two efficient ways

Fortunately, there are two efficient ways in which you could ‘pass’ the test without being caught with a lie:

  • You need to be completely zen, no matter what questions you’re being asked. Even though it sounds very simple, most people have trouble mastering this.
  • You need to be completely relaxed during the test.

Try these 7 efficient tips!

Taking a lie-detecting test can be a very stressful experience, whether you have something to hide or not. Moreover, a lie detector won’t be fooled by your physical responses to nerves. In order to successfully pass a lie detector test, you need to master your game to imitate feelings of mortal terror. In order to beat the test, you need to see it as a mind game.

Here are 7 of the most efficient tips you can try:

1. Being upset, fearful, and confused throughout the test is one of the best ways in which you can successfully beat it. No matter how stressed you might feel on the inside, you need to appear calm and zen. Additionally, think of a bad experience or solve a hard math problem in your head, or do whatever keeps you in a constant state of pressure and stress. If you’re particularly scared of one question, the goal is to imagine every other question you’re being asked is that one.

2. Don’t rush to give an answer. Take some time to understand whether the question is irrelevant, relevant, or diagnostic. An irrelevant question is the one that asks you about your name, your age, and what color is your T-shirt. The important ones you need to focus on are the relevant questions. Questions such as ‘Did you know about the crime?’ are relevant.
Finally, diagnostic questions are the ones where most people answer with ‘Yes’ to, even though it’s a lie. ‘Have you ever told a white lie just to get out of trouble?’ or ‘Have you ever stolen something from your workplace?’ are just two examples of diagnostic questions.

3. During diagnostic questions you need to modify your breathing, and then go back to normal breathing before giving an answer to the next question.

4. Make sure you give a firm answer, without any kind of humor or hesitation. Don’t joke around or act childish. Instead, be cooperative and determined.

5. You should stick to responding with ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to questions. Do not try to explain yourself and give more details, as you can do more harm than good. If you’re asked to give a more detailed answer, you could reply: ‘What more do you want me to ay?’ or ‘I have nothing else to tell.’

6. You’re going to be accused of lying, but you shouldn’t fall for it. Instead, use the accusation to appear even more upset and confused. Also, your examiner might be confused when you answer the diagnostic questions honestly, so you need to be prepared for another series of questions.

7. You need to do a little practice before the test. You can ask a friend to ask you likely questions. when answering, concentrate on your breathing, and control your reaction to the more uncomfortable questions.

All these tips will help you pass a lie detector test, but if you’re taking the test to get a job, lying is not your best option. Make sure you approach it with honesty, as it is the best approach in this case.
