Rheumatoid Arthritis

Similar to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis also affects the joints. The only difference is that rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition, while osteoarthritis is a degenerative one. With rheumatoid arthritis, the body attacks its own system, causing a lot of pain, destruction, and limited function.

Therefore, the treatment for this condition is different than the one for osteoarthritis, because in this case, the stem cells are used for treating the immune system, rather than the joints. The good thing, however, is that stem cell treatment has the same positive effect with this condition as well.
