There are a lot of conspiracy theories around vaccines since a lot of people believe there’s no evidence that they work, or they could cause autism due to certain compounds in them. However, research has proved over the years that vaccines are effective and the theory that they could cause autism has also been debunked.
But even so, many celebrities out there, such as Donald Trump, Robert De Niro, Jenny McCarthy, Rob Schneider, and Bill Maher, still choose to believe that vaccines are useless. Donald Trump mentioned in a Republican primary debate in 2015 that he knows someone who got vaccinated and then presented autism-like symptoms.
