Another very common side effect when it comes to COVID vaccines is skin redness, which is also known as erythema. While the percentage of the recipients who experienced this adverse reaction is much lower compared to the previous one, 7.3 percent of people still reported redness in the arm where they received the vaccine.
Besides skin redness, a small percentage of recipients have also experienced swelling in the arm where they’ve gotten the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. However, experts believe this side-effect is not as common as the previous two. The report has shown that 5.3 percent of people had experienced this adverse reaction in trials.
Also, it’s worth mentioning that swelling is more common in younger recipients, just like the other two previously mentioned.
