What is the mass of Mars?

As I said before, Earth is twice as big as Mars and it’s around ten times heavier! Mars’ mass is 6.42 x 1023 kilograms, which is about 10 times less than Earth. While it is indeed a small planet, Mars is the most explored outside of our own, which makes it awesome!

How old is Mars?

Mars is 4.6 billion years old, just like the rest of our Solar System.

How long is a year on Mars?

Mars takes a longer trip around the Sun than Earth does, making it a little slower. To be more precise, it takes 687 Earth days to orbit the Sun, or a Mars year, which indicates that it travels at a brisk 24 km/s on its 9,55 AU journey (1 AU is approximately 150 million km, just about the distance between Earth and the Sun).
