You are stardust.

You’re probably very confused about this affirmation, but it’s actually true, your body is actually made from stardust. How? As you might know already, every little atom in your body is billions of years old.

The most common element in your body is hydrogen, which was produced 13.7 billion years ago in the big bang. Additionally, another two stronger atoms present in your body, oxygen, and carbon, have been produced around 12 billion years ago and were dispersed around space when the stars exploded.

These remarkable explosions were so powerful, that they were able to create elements stronger than iron. These elements couldn’t be produced by stars. Therefore, this could only mean one thing. Many elements in our bodies are very, very old. We could say that we’re stardust because that’s actually accurate.
