If you’ve ever ridden the bus on an unbearably hot day, you’ve surely come across the myriad of odors coming from smelly armpits and whatnot. The good news is that future generations will no longer have to suffer through this ordeal, according to scientists.
Researchers have reached the conclusion that body hair will no longer be useful and thus disappear sometime in the future just like the Homo neanderthalensis, the earlier relatives of Homo sapiens, shed most of their body hair as part of the evolution process. If body hair used to keep people warm in prehistoric times, it’s clear now that we have clothes to provide warmth, so hair no longer serves any purpose. Excluding the eyebrows without which people would look downright creepy, or beards that seem to make men more attractive in the eyes of women, body hair will most likely be written off by evolution.
Evolution will apparently soon nip our next body part in the bud…..
Speaking of men and what makes them attractive, it’s definitely not their nipples. According to researchers, nipples develop in the womb because of the XY chromosomes but have no utility for men as they cannot produce milk like women. The article forgot one thing--the cleft in the chin. A perfect example of why some have it and others don't or show the cleft. It stems from the earliest form of our being. Insects as grasshoppers have a double opening to eat. We started out with this same opening and over millions of years it closed up. On some people it is very pronounced and on others it is not seen.
People forget about other forms of life such as a pollywog (tadpole) that loses its tail and changes into a frog. The butterfly also comes to mind out it becomes what it is. I think people don't think deeply enough. There is too much proof that evolution is part of life.
