Triplets found each other again after being separated at birth for the sake of an experiment.

The Three Identical Strangers documentary tells the story of three young men who were separated at birth as part of an experiment. Robby, David, and Eddie as triplets. They were adopted by different families when they were babies, and have managed to find each other in 1980.

The boys discovered that they have a lot in common, and even though they were raised in different environments, two of them attended the same university and had a lot of similar personality traits.

The triplets were part of a ‘nature vs. nature’ experiment in the 60s, conducted by a New York psychologist. However, all three men suffered a lot due to their separation and the course of their lives was impacted by their adoptions.
