• 10 percent increase in domestic violence reports, according to New York City Police Department
• 18 percent increase in calls and asking for help regarding family violence, according to San Antonio Police Department
• 22 percent increase in arrests related to domestic violence in Portland, according to Portland Police Bureau
• 27 percent increase in domestic violence calls in Alabama, according to Jefferson County Alabama Sheriff’s Office

The number of domestic violence cases also increased in several countries in March 2020.

• Argentina: 25 percent of domestic violence cases
• France: 30 percent of domestic violence cases
• Singapore: 33 percent of helpline calls
