While indoor-dining regulations differ from one state to another, we can all agree that eating establishments have been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. For some, it’s been fatal, but even the restaurant industry altogether has lost a lot of money since the pandemic started, and they’re still not on the right path.
They’ve been able to catch a small break during summer months when customers were allowed to eat outdoors, even though they worked at a limited capacity. It’s definitely a good thing that restaurants are starting to reopen again in our country, even though they will continue to work at a limited capacity.
Many experts believe that is unlikely that we go back to the same relationship we used to have with restaurants before the pandemic, as the industry is going to suffer some changes. In fact, people might continue to choose delivery and takeout more often than they did before and restaurants will expand these options for their clients.
Also, there will need to be a lot more information about safety and hygiene practices available for clients, as people have started paying more attention to these aspects.
