Here Are 14 Traits That You Probably Got From Your Parents

The 1st is via the inheritance of a dominant gene, which causes the development of a characteristic in carriers of the gene. For instance, someone’s eye color. The dominant feature of brown eyes means that if both of your parents have them, you almost certainly will too.

The other way is with a recessive gene. The presence of a recessive gene in both parents is necessary for the offspring to inherit the characteristic. If you have green eyes, for instance, it indicates that both of your parents contain the gene for green eyes, even if their own eyes are a different color. Interesting, right?
