Well, some researchers say that gravity is as strong as the other fundamental forces, such as the force that holds the nucleus together and electromagnetism.
Even so, gravity’s impact might be scattered as it leaks into many other dimensions. And this is the only explanation we have right now, so this will have to do until scientists come up with something more complex.
