Let’s focus on DNA

DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid and is a hereditary material that can be found in humans and also in many other organisms. DNA is a molecule that has all the information necessary in order to construct and maintain an organism.

As we already know, genetics and DNA play a major role when it comes to health and disease, either it’s susceptibility or progression. Scientists started to study genetic variation in order to find a connection and predict if a person can develop some diseases, such as malaria, HIV, cancer or heart disease.

We said earlier that SARS-CoV-2 doesn’t behave the same when a person is infected. People can be either asymptomatic or have mild symptoms or can have a critical health condition and even die.
