Taunton State Hospital

Taunton State Hospital is located in Taunton, Massachusetts, and was opened in 1854. Thousands of people with mental health conditions have lived in Taunton State Hospital, and even several violent criminals, including Honora Kelley, also known as Jolly Kane, who killed 31 people, and wanted to kill even more, in order to become the one that killed “more people than any other man or woman who has ever lived.”

There are rumors that the institution was run by a Satanic cult, who used patients as sacrifices in their dark rituals that have been hosted in the building’s basement. It is believed that the hospital is haunted, as many people have reported seeing unusual things in the basement, including a shadowy figure that crawls along the walls.
