Wearing a face mask when you’re sick.
Before COVID-19 we were practically strangers to face masks, unless you needed to take care of an elderly family member with a compromised immune system. However, 2020 transformed face masks into our main accessory, and we were forced to carry them with us everywhere.
We’ve heard a lot about the importance of wearing a face mask in the past year, and we’ve definitely gotten used to it, even though it wasn’t easy for a while and they were also short in supply. While some people associate face masks with an infringement of their personal freedom and liberty, we can’t deny their effectiveness when it comes to preventing the spread of the virus.
Face masks are very important tools in keeping COVID-19 at bay, and we’ve already seen that they work very well at preventing transmission, so why not continue to wear them every time we’re sick, even post-COVID?
It would definitely not be a surprise if more and more people will choose to wear one when they’re feeling sick or have a minor cold.
