How big is the universe?
As previously mentioned, scientists have mentioned that the universe is continuing to expand, but do they know how big it is? Sadly, scientists can’t determine how big the universe is, as they can’t put a number on it.
In order to determine the size, we should know its shape and rate of expansion, and many other things that are still a mystery to us.

And what about its shape?
Even though there are a lot of theories about the shape of the universe, NASA believes it is flat, therefore, it is likely infinite in size. But as we already know that the universe is 13.8 billion years old, we know there is a beginning and possibly an expected end, so we can only see a limited volume of it.
According to NASA, “All we can truly conclude is that the universe is much larger than the volume we can directly observe.”
