What happened to Amelia Earhart?
Amelia Earhart was an American aviator and the first woman to fly alone across the Atlantic Ocean as well as from Hawaii to the U.S. mainland. She mysteriously disappeared over the Pacific Ocean, in 1937, while attempting to fly around the world. The mystery lies in the fact that she seemed to have vanished into thin air, as no traces of her plane have ever been found.
Theories involve her plane crashing, sinking into the deep water of the ocean, becoming a castaway on a remote island only to never be found again, taken prisoner by the Japanese, and the list could go on. Her disappearance remains a mystery…for the time being.
