Raised Volcanic Activity in Hawaii? It’s Because of Fracking!!

If you are asking yourself what is fracking, don’t worry, you are not alone. Most people asked this, and fracking turns out to be the process in which fluid is injected into bedrock at high pressures in order to crack them and release petroleum mass: basically, what allows us to access natural gas and oil from the ground.

With the increase in volcanic activity in Hawaii, there was someone that made the claim that a nearby geothermal plant that was close to Hawaii’s Big Island was responsible for the volcanic eruptions: because of the fracking they did. Not only was this debunked very fast, but it also makes little to no sense, as this is not how eruptions happen.

Despite this, it did nothing to stop conspiracy theorists from running around spreading this nonsense. We wonder what they will say when and if there is going to be another eruption, but the plant wasn’t active…

Neurotoxins Are Poisoning Our Water!

Long gone are the rants of TV anchors about what secret substances they put in the water supply to make people turn into homosexuals (Alex Jones’ rant about how even frogs are changing sexualities is still quite embarrassing). The newest conspiracy theory related to water is actually related more to the fluoride in water than to the water itself.

They claim that the concentration of fluoride that can be found in water is dangerous to humans, going as far as to claim there is a study that shows that fluoride is a “neurotoxin”. Try as everyone might, there is no such thing floating around and there is no evidence of that. The amount of fluoride found in tap water is not dangerous, and all this substance does is help keep our teeth white and strong.

A Good Ol’ One That’s Still Hanging On: The Earth is FLAT!

Yes, this one is still going on, despite so many scientists proving that it is in fact based on nothing. As we all know, the Earth is a sphere, and it is such a universal truth, it has dated all the way back to ancient Greece: when they did not have the technology we have today! It seems there is nothing that can stop these conspiracy theorists from claiming the Earth is flat.

What’s even more surprising, is that this theory keeps gaining traction as more and more people believe in it from one year to another.

If you want to know more about conspiracy theories, you can read some more about a few of them that have actually been proven to be REAL!
