Anthony Fauci anticipates that the vaccine pause would not stay in place very long.

As previously mentioned, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) agreed on taking a pause in vaccine administration, and their decision raised a lot of concern among individuals.

Also, without the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, we only have two available vaccines in the United States, which can really impact the ongoing national vaccination effort. However, Anthony Fauci believes this pause won’t last very long, as the Jenssen vaccine will likely come back soon.

As Fauci explained during his interview with NBC’s Today that took place on April 14, the pause is expected to take days or even weeks, rather than months. A decision needs to be made really soon, Fauci added.
