Neurocognitive problems.

Unfortunately, a COVID-19 infection could do permanent damage to the brain. A study published last year in JAMA discovered that one-third of COVID infected patients in Wuhan, China, experienced neurological problems.

The most common neurological problems were headache, dizziness, confusion, loss of smell and taste, seizures, and others. According to Elemental by Medium, it could be the virus that’s attacking the brain or these symptoms might be the result of oxygen deprivation or the inflammatory immune response.

That’s why it’s hard to determine how long these complications will stay with us. According to Igor Koralnik, MD, who is chief of neuro-infectious disease and global neurology at Northwestern University, “It is possible [the changes will be permanent]. Time will tell if this happens or not.”

  1. What is never mentioned is what the covid-19 vaccine shots can trigger- a host of problems like chronic fatigue syndrome.

      1. Trump got all the latest drugs available. Unfortunately, they are not available to all of us. Hydroxychloroquin had nothing to do with his recovery.

  2. The Moderna second shot triggered RA for me. Severe pain, stiffness and lack of strength in shoulders as a result. Never had any symptoms prior to vaccination. It’s been 3.5 months and still no relief unless I use steroids daily (which I won’t do).
