First of all, what actually is coronavirus?
Coronavirus is actually the name of a virus that is part of the coronaviruses family. The word “corona” means “crown” and it is called like that due to the fact the when you look at the virus through a microscope, the proteins that surround the virus are shaped like a crown.
There are many coronaviruses and some of them affect humans, causing mild respiratory infections in the sinuses, upper throat and in the nose, while others affect different species of animals.
Also, there are times when a coronavirus can jump from the animal species to human beings, due to different mutations it suffered.
