Jesus Christ

As you might know already, Jesus Christ was born around 4 BC in Bethlehem and was raised in the Galilean town of Nazareth. Even though there’s not enough information about his early life and it’s still a mystery to us, Jesus grew up wanting to become like his father, Saint Joseph, who was working as a carpenter and tradesman.

He called himself Messiah and moved to the north of Judea, in Galilee, where everyone accepted him. When he went to Jerusalem, people started calling him “rabbi.”

According to listverse.com, “It wasn’t the fact that Christ preached His ministry that broke the rules; it was the nature of what He spoke about and the fact that He declared Himself God (“Before Abraham was made, I Am.” St John 8:58).”

Jesus’ life centered around the Talmudic laws of the Pharisees, and the original Jewish faith, even though many people considered His teachings as being rebellious. And he was considered a villain for it, leading to Him being betrayed, tortured, and crucified by the Romans.

Even so, thanks to his work here on Earth, he impacted Judaism and contributed to the creation of the Catholic Church.
