Even though Dr. Leavitt is working with several patients that experienced blood clotting after their Johnson & Johnson shot, so he saw all the symptoms, he still believed the two agencies were right to lift the pause.
Dr. Leavitt believes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) did a really good job with their review and the 12-day pause. He also believes that the pause should not make people refuse to get vaccinated, but rather be more confident in the vaccine’s safety and efficacy.
