Only one man in the clinical trials for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine reported rare blood clotting.
Even though this is the first male recipient of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine that experienced blood clotting in the real world, another man also experienced the same thing during the clinical trials, according to The New York Times.
But according to ScienceNews, the fact that the clinical trials blood clotting incident happened before the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was authorized for use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), wasn’t included in the recent analysis conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and FDA.
