In an unprecedented move which has left many onlookers shocked, while more still applauding this break from the traditional editorial musing of this medical journal, The New England Journal of Medicine has written one of the most scathing assessments of the current administration’s handling of the on going coronavirus pandemic. Leaving their most damning criticisms for the incumbent president, Donald Trump.
The New England Journal of Medicine, who published their first issue way back in January 1812, have published an editorial that is in direct opposition to their usual nonpartisan stance. Considered to be one of the most prestigious medical journals in the world, up until now, they have never supported or condemned any political candidate in their 208 year history.
