Titanic’s tragic end was predicted by author Robert Morgan.

Even though it sounds hard to believe, author Robert Morgan actually predicted Titanic’s tragic fate in 1898, 14 years before the incident. Also, his book ‘The Wreck of the Titan, Or Futility’ presented a lot of similarities to the actual event.

Morgan named the ship Titan, and he also described it as being ‘unsinkable’, even though both Titan and Titanic ended up hitting icebergs on the starboard side of the ship.

Another incredible coincidence is that both ships sank 400 miles off Newfoundland, in April. Additionally, a lot of the passengers lost their lives in the incident, as there were not enough lifeboats. He wrote the book exactly how it happened fourteen years later.
