Rolling Hills Asylum
Rolling Hills Asylum was opened in 1827, in East Bethany, New York. The facility housed mentally disabled people, physically disabled ones, homeless, orphans, and even violent criminals.
However, they weren’t treated as patients, but rather as prisoners. More than 2,000 people died in the asylum over the course of time, and almost all of them have been secretly buried around the property.
Probably the most famous ghost of the Rolling Hills Asylum is Roy Crouse, a 7’5” giant who died on the property, who likes to show himself to almost everyone that visits the asylum. But those who’ve seen him said that he’s not violent at all.
