How long is a goldfish’s memory?
Many believe that goldfish have a very short memory span and they can’t remember things for longer than 3 seconds. At least that’s what we’ve been told for years. More recent studies have found that these popular pets can remember things for several months, not seconds!

It’s for this very reason that your finger drumming on their food container activates their memory and makes them come to the surface.
