Our biggest enemy

Our worst enemy is, well…us. If the Sun, global warming, a volcano, or a meteor doesn’t end us, we will take the situation into our own hands. Humans are capable of causing extinction level events such as a global nuclear war, the killing of several animal species that could lead to an ecosystem collapse and climate change caused by our activities (polluting oceans).

What’s even more concerning about the ELE events is that they usually occur gradually, often leading to a domino effect. To be more specific, if a certain event will lead to the killing of one or more species, there will another event will follow that will kill even more.
