The new COVID variant is expected to be the dominant strain in the United States by March.
Scott Gottlieb, MD, former Food and Drug Administration (FDA) commissioner has talked on CBS’s Face the Nation on January 17 about the new COVID strain and predicted that the situation will only be getting worse from now on, as the virus is spreading very fast.
While the new variant is now only about 0.5 percent of all infections in the United States, the most affected states being Florida and California as previously mentioned, the numbers are expected to double each week, Gottlieb stated.
His statement is based on data from other countries, especially the U.K., where the number of cases has risen very quickly when it comes to the new strain. He even added that next week, it will be 2 percent, followed by 4 percent, 8 percent, 16 percent, and so on…until the new strain will be dominant in the United States.

Yep, I was expecting this, maybe just not so soon! The liberals are bound and determined to control each and every aspect of our lives, after all, they have gotten by with it the past 6 months, does anyone out there really think they have controlled people for their own good? We really do have the sense to come in out of the rain! I have a feeling we haven’t seen nothing yet, they aren’t going to be happy until they can KEEP people just where they want them!!!!!!
