KN95 masks.
In his interview for The Washington Post, Anthony Fauci mentioned that a good alternative for the N95 mask is the KN95. These masks are made in China, therefore, they are created after the Chinese efficacy standards and are considered to be 95 percent efficient against small particles.
However, it would be recommended to opt for masks that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency use. At the moment, the KN95 masks are being reviewed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in order to find out if they can be used as a N95 alternative.
