Aliens are dead.

Probably the most sadistic theory out there is also quite plausible. Maybe we never came across extraterrestrial life because, well…they’re already extinct, a new study says. Let’s not forget that the universe is 13.78 billion years old, so in that time, it’s possible that many other civilizations have existed and went extinct.

According to Dr. Aditya Chopra, lead author of the study, “The universe is probably filled with habitable planets, so many scientists think it should be teeming with aliens.”

“[But] early life is fragile, so we believe it rarely evolves quickly enough to survive.” Many scientists believe that it’s almost impossible for life to thrive on other planets, as they would need a lot of time to create a balanced atmosphere and keep greenhouse gases controlled.

“Most early planetary environments are unstable,” Chopra added.

  1. Perhaps it’s because our sci fi concept of aliens does not exist . Or perhaps they took a look at the human race and said ” Nah ! We don’t want to be dealing with these idiots “
