Your body can make noise after death!
This is probably the scariest thing that can happen to you, seeing a corpse make noise just like in the horror movies you’ve watched. While dead bodies cannot scream or yell at you, they can make a little noise which can be just as creepy.
In fact, dead bodies can moan, grunt, hiss, and groan, but they aren’t making all this noise voluntarily, that’s for sure. The noise tends to happen because there’s still air inside the windpipe, which usually gets out when the body is moved.
You’re probably familiar with the sound if you’ve seen various horror movies, even though it’s not as terrifying in reality. However, if the corpse starts talking to you, you better run!
