Terrence Howard -Math is wrong
Yes, Terrence Howard doesn’t believe in math, an exact science for that matter. Even though everything in math is very logical, he created his own theory, also known as Terryology. And this theory sustains that math, as we know it, is wrong.
Howard began researching this theory while he studied chemical engineering at the Pratt Institute after he had a debate with one of the professors on the exact same topic.
As he mentioned in a Rolling Stone interview, “If one times one equals one that means that two is of no value because one times itself has no effect. One times one equals two because the square root of four is two, so what’s the square root of two? Should be one, but we’re told it’s two, and that cannot be.”
One times one equals one, he added. And even though he never completed his degree, Howard kept on researching this theory. After a few years, he earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from South Carolina State University.
He mentioned in his interview that he doesn’t want society’s future children to grow in ignorance, as we did, adding that two decades from now, they will know that one times one equals two.
