According to Katie Markley, MD, a primary care physician at UCHealth Primary Care Hilltop, stick to drinking water before the vaccine and leave alcohol for another time.
“Drinking too much alcohol can lead to dehydration and a hangover. Do not place yourself in a position to be fighting a hangover and possible side effects,” she added.
