O’Neal also spoke about the imminent rise of COVID cases, and how her hospital, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, is already filled with patients. She has already seen several people of 30 or 40 years old, who are suffering from the new coronavirus, the Delta variant.
But this is not only happening in Louisiana but all around the country: new cases, hospitalizations, with deaths sadly likely to rise again. In her attempts to make the population warier of the new virus, she presented the only two possible options: you can either get vaccinated or accept death and the consequences it will have on your friends and loved ones.
