How different is Delta from COVID-19?

The symptoms of the Delta variant appear to be the same as the original version of COVID-19, like those of a common cold, such as cough, fever or headache, with the addition of significant loss of smell. However, there are some aspects of this new variant that are significantly different.

The main differences being that not only is it more contagious, the Delta variant now accounts for more than 80% of new cases in the U.S. according to experts, it grows more rapidly and to much more dangerous levels in the respiratory tract, which has not only seen people get sicker, quicker, but we are seeing many more cases in young people than we ever did with COVID-19.

  1. Another article ignoring the natural immunity aspect. Delta is already the dominate Covid variant, milder, but more contagious. More attention to the downside of the covid shots please, which in my view, exceeds any advantages, especially to kids.
