Will the vaccines remain effective against new variants?

There are some concerns among specialists that we could see the emergence of what they are calling an “escape variant”. This would be a new mutation that could significantly escape the protection offered by our vaccines. However, because there have been a few variants already, the leading COVID vaccine manufacturers say that they are more than prepared for this possible outcome.

As devastating as the Delta Variant has been, the one good thing we can take from it is the fact that the vaccine manufacturers has already gained valuable experience on how to alter their current vaccines quickly and effectively. They are confident that if an escape variant does emerge, they will be able to alter their vaccine within 6-8 weeks.

How long will this go on for?…..

  1. Another article ignoring the natural immunity aspect. Delta is already the dominate Covid variant, milder, but more contagious. More attention to the downside of the covid shots please, which in my view, exceeds any advantages, especially to kids.
