Can Delta infect fully vaccinated people?

Unfortunately, yes. Although the vaccines do protect you against severe illness and death, you can still spread the virus and in areas where there is a high population of unvaccinated people. What is of great concern is that a recent study from the CDC found that fully vaccinated people carried just as much virus in their noses and throats as the unvaccinated.

When the University of Wisconsin, Madison, conducted the same study they reported similar findings, which has led to many encouraging fully vaccinated people to continue wearing masks in indoor public places in areas where transmission is high. So, despite the vaccinations, the prospects of Americans wearing masks for the foreseeable future is very high.

Or unvaccinated?…..

  1. Another article ignoring the natural immunity aspect. Delta is already the dominate Covid variant, milder, but more contagious. More attention to the downside of the covid shots please, which in my view, exceeds any advantages, especially to kids.
