Will there be more variants?

Being fully vaccinated, and encouraging the unvaccinated to get their shot is vital in stopping the further spread is also key to preventing the emergence of newer variants, ones that can potentially be even more dangerous than Delta.

Sadly, we have already seen the emergence of a new variant which was first discovered in Colombia in January 2021. Named the ‘Mu Variant’, it has already spread to 36 countries, so far. There is some promising news with this new variant as it doesn’t appear to be outcompeting Delta, which remains the dominant variant across most of the world.

How does the vaccine work with new variants?…..

  1. Another article ignoring the natural immunity aspect. Delta is already the dominate Covid variant, milder, but more contagious. More attention to the downside of the covid shots please, which in my view, exceeds any advantages, especially to kids.
