What does the Delta Variant mean for unvaccinated people?

The future is not looking good for those who do not get the vaccination as, at present, unvaccinated patients account for 97% of COVID-19 admissions with around 89% of those admitted testing positive for the Delta variant. The fact that this is a more destructive version of the virus comes with a higher risk of not surviving it.

Sadly, there is also a political divide at play here as the predominantly Republican-controlled Southern States are either reluctant to reimpose restriction or mask mandates, while others are still of the mindset that this is still somehow a conspiracy by the ‘leftist elite’. The resistance to getting the vaccine doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, any time soon.

How will this affect our children?…..

  1. Another article ignoring the natural immunity aspect. Delta is already the dominate Covid variant, milder, but more contagious. More attention to the downside of the covid shots please, which in my view, exceeds any advantages, especially to kids.
